The ICC Court of Arbitration and ICC Panama are organizing their biennial International Arbitration Conference on 30 January to discuss topics regarding the recent developments of arbitration in Latin-America and the world. This conference will be preceded by two conferences: a Conference co-organized by the ICC and the International Bar Association (IBA) and ICC YAF Conference both on 29 January 2018.
ICC PANARB is a conference organized every two years, with the goal of analyzing recent developments of international arbitration in the Latin-American region and the world. This edition of the conference will include debates related to effective arbitral agreements, bifurcation of the arbitral proceeding, the use of technology in international arbitration and an overview of the New ICC Report on IT. It will feature a simulation of an ICC Court session, which will count on the participation of ICC Court Members and will be focused on the scrutiny of an arbitral award.
This edition will be preceded by two conferences on 29 January 2018. A Conference co-organized by the IBA and the ICC “Soft Law and its development by the Arbitration Committee of the IBA, and the Latin-American Chapter of the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) is organizing a free event, “Contracts with the State: Conceptual and Practical Reflections” which will feature an interactive mock case on international arbitration.
